Overall, we're happy with it and will keep it for several more years. If they don't get trapped by the door, they dangle on the floor and get noisy. Second row seat belts do not roll back and tend to dangle and get caught in a sliding door. It works most of the time, but sometimes acts up for no apparent reason. There is no safety (above the door) handle on the driver's side. Volume control is not linear change from 3 to 4 notches on the display, for example, is SIGNIFICANT - from not being able to hear - to waking up sleeping children in the back. Grey leather stains easily and is very difficult to keep clean. I realize it's a heavy vehicle, but that seems a tad early. Also, pads wear off quickly, and we had to turn rotors at around 25k. It should not be of consequence to those looking for a good used vehicle, but still.īreaks work well, but one needs to REALLY step on them to get action. Dealer (Nissan of Cool Springs) did not care. OEM Toyo tires were dead after 14k miles. It has not changed over the years, it's been like this from day one. We get 16/23 routinely, and used to get 19/26 in our 2007 Quest. ![]() Gas mileage is not as good as the EPA rating. Any complaints here are more of a "feedback" kind, and "first world problems." Also, some of the observations are in direct comparison to our 2007 Quest SE, which we liked very much (except for the miserable Michelin PAX tires). With any luck, Nissan engineers and designers may read this and use the review to make the Quest even better. Overall, it has been a great, reliable and comfortable vehicle for the family. So far, the van has been reliable and we did not have to use the extended warranty. We also got an extended warranty for 7 years/100,000 miles. We've purchased this van locally in April of 2014. Hopefully, someone will benefit from our impressions of 2014 Quest LE over the last 50k. Customer review has been a great source of information in making an informed decision. Thank you for taking the time to seek out these gentle giants in the wild, and for visiting the Center.Over the years, I've used routinely to search for new and used cars. If for any reason you visit and are not able to see manatees in the wild, we will happily provide you with a map and suggestions on where else you might find manatees, and also have streaming video of manatees underwater and above-water, so that you can witness them in their natural habitat. We also know that the water in Moore's Creek is a mix of freshwater and saltwater, which is a draw to manatees seeking fresh water to drink. Manatee calves stay with their mothers for up to two years, during which the mothers teach their young where to stop when migrating, including the Moore's Creek area. While it is true that there is no longer an active power plant emitting warm water in Moore's Creek (at the Manatee Center), we do still see around 450 manatees per year, especially during January-February when manatees are migrating to warmer waters. In addition to Taylor Creek, visitors can often view manatees at Round Island Park on North Hutchinson Island. ![]() Dear freetoyou, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit more, but are happy for your suggestion on other areas to view manatees nearby.
